Owner and Managing Director

I am Tanya Santos, the Owner and Managing Director of Walfinch Chiswick, Hammersmith & Kensington. A dedicated care professional, I am honoured to have been featured in Home Care Insight’s “Power List” for 2022, 2023, and 2024, recognising my inclusive and progressive leadership in the home care sector. My commitment to exceptional service and continuous improvement has led our branch to earn accolades such as Homecare.co.uk’s Top 20 Providers in 2024, Walfinch Excellence in Business Growth award and the Walfinch Excellence in Compliance Award.

I began my career in the hospitality business, quickly rising to the role of director of a large hospitality operation. This experience honed my skills in management and customer service, which I later transitioned into the home care sector, allowing me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals. My empathetic nature and strong communication skills enable me to connect with clients and tailor our services to meet their specific needs.

In my personal life, I enjoy staying active, whether it’s walking my three dogs, a pug and two small Boston terriers, dancing, or lifting weights at the gym. I believe that good communication is key to providing the best service, and I am always available to listen to clients and their families. Additionally, I am committed to supporting my amazing Care Team, as I believe a motivated and well-trained team is essential for delivering outstanding care.

Roxy Visser

Operations Director

Roxy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. With a very successful career in the care sector, she has held leadership roles with some of the industry’s most respected companies.

Roxy oversees all aspects of our operations, ensuring continuous improvement and that our team has the support they need to excel. She is heavily involved with our clients and their families, ensuring they are onboarded and cared for every step of the way. Roxy approaches every task with car whether big or small, she is hands-on, solutions-focused, and always ready to lend her support wherever it’s needed.

Roxy’s organised, compassionate, and empathetic nature, combined with her exceptional communication skills, make her an invaluable asset to our team.  She brings calm, care, and consistency to everything she does and truly is the heartbeat of our operations team.

In her free time, Roxy is a keen runner and loves to spend time with her husband and their fur baby, Indi.

Magdalena Chmielewska

Registered Manager

Awarded the “Leader of the Future” award at the 2024 Leading Women in
Care Awards, Magdalena has deservedly been recognised for the brilliant
work she does on a daily basis for our clients and Care Team.

Compassionate, professional and thorough, Magdalena is everything that a
great Registered Manager should be. She makes certain that our services
run to the very highest standards and are fully compliant with the latest
CQC regulations.

Magdalena is on hand to provide our Care Team with all the support that
they need. She can educate clients and families on care and support needs
and liaises effectively with medical professionals.

A real fashionista, Magdalena loves clothes shopping, photography and
make-up.

Zarina Khan

Care Manager

Zarina is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the social and health care sector. Over the years, she has developed a deep understanding of the diverse needs of individuals, ranging from mobility challenges to cognitive issues. Her work with various care organisations and the NHS has equipped her with the skills to provide compassionate, tailored support. 

A long-time resident of West London, Zarina is deeply connected to her community. She is passionate about giving back, whether through volunteering at local organisations or providing one-on-one assistance. Her commitment to making a positive impact is unwavering. 

In her free time, Zarina enjoys reading and writing stories. Her creative pursuits offer a balance to her professional life, enriching her overall wellbeing. 

Nicole Jacobs

Operations Administrator

Nicole is our dynamic all-rounder, excelling in coordinating recruitment,
onboarding new staff, and managing daily office operations.

With a background in hospitality and a passion for working with people,
Nicole brings a unique blend of experience and drive to Walfinch Chiswick,
Hammersmith and Kensington. Her diverse skills include writing articles for
digital marketing, assisting with recruitment, and compliance audits.

Nicole’s dedication to her work is matched by her commitment to personal
growth, having explored fields like Civil Engineering, Architecture, and
Psychology.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending quality time with her children
through outdoor activities and expressing her creativity through painting
and sketching.
