Catie Shooter
Born and raised in Mansfield, I come from a proud lineage of hardworking coal miners. Growing up in a community filled with resilience and strong values shaped my approach to leadership and care.
I’ve worked in care for over 14 years, across a wide range of areas—from learning disabilities and mental health to physical disabilities and elderly care. My passion for empowering people to make their own choices about their care and support drives everything I do.
I stepped into the role of Registered Manager in January 2024, bringing a commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering a supportive team environment. I believe that great care isn’t just about meeting needs—it’s about helping individuals thrive.
As the bossy big sister of two brothers with autism and a mum to a little one, I know firsthand the power of advocacy and the importance of giving people control over their own lives.
Outside of work, I’m an avid video gamer and a fan of horror movies—a perfect way to unwind after a rewarding day in the care sector!
