Managing Director

Idris’s journey into home care was heavily influenced by his family background. Growing up with his mother, who became disabled following an unfortunate accident, he experienced firsthand the challenges and importance of caregiving. Idris’s father, a respected doctor who specialises in elder care, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease, and his mother, a nurse before her disability, exposed him to the healthcare sector from a young age. Their strong commitment to helping others instilled in him a deep sense of purpose and dedication to positively impacting people’s lives.

Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office at Walfinch Newcastle East, Idris’s leadership fosters a culture of listening and learning, ensuring that the level of service provided continually evolves, with input welcomed by all, including clients and caregivers.

“As care providers, we are responsible for delivering the highest standard. Anything less is unacceptable, so we have a real learning culture here. We aim to continually improve and develop our services for those we care for. We take this commitment very seriously because it’s an honour and privilege for us at Walfinch when chosen to provide care for an individual or their loved ones”.
