Join our Ealing & Uxbridge team
Walfinch’s first client was one of our own family members. We wanted the absolute best for them, and that ethos remains at the heart of the care we provide today.
We guarantee that all our staff have the necessary training, experience and qualifications needed to do their jobs professionally and effectively – but we understand that the very best care goes beyond that.
All our carers are carefully vetted and selected for their kind, compassionate and respectful approach. Our training programme and ongoing support ensure they deliver outstanding care in every situation.
We look after our carers, because we believe that offering them the best care in the workplace translates to delivering the best care to you.
The great majority of our carers stay with us year-on-year – because we know that happy carers mean happy clients.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. — Aristotle
Your Ealing & Uxbridge Branch
Our carers get:
- Better than care sector average pay – we pay more than the living wage.
- We pay the majority of our carers mileage between visits (and aim to expand it to all).
- Free prestigious training that exceeds the standards required by the care regulators.
- Ongoing training to ensure your knowledge and skills are always up-to-date.
- Training in specialist skills such as Dementia care, post-stroke rehabilitation and many more, so you grow your expertise.
- The chance to climb the career ladder in a growing company.
- Opportunities to meet new people with similar interests – we match carers to clients, so you’ll have interests in common.
- Work as part of a friendly team in an inclusive workplace where fun is one of our values.
- Local work – we have offices across the country.
It’s no accident that majority of our carers stay with us year-on-year. Join us and find out why!
What you bring to Walfinch
The right attitude is more important to us than previous experience or qualifications – though of course we value all the experience you can bring.
Experienced or not, we look for people who pass the mum test.
When recruiting we always ask ourselves, “Would I like this person looking after my mum?” Only if we are confident that we would, do we continue with the recruitment process. That means if you come and work with us, your colleagues will be people like you – caring, compassionate, responsible, practical and with a great sense of humour.
You’ll need your own transport and driving licence, and you’ll be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks. We’re flexible and diverse, we have carers of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.
